Tue-Sat, Jun 1 - Oct 16 2010 - American Cancer Society's DetermiNation Baltimore
Time & Place: - Baltimore, MD
Brief Description: The American Cancer Society’s DetermiNation Maryland program enables athletes to dedicate their training and participation in the Baltimore Running Festival’s full and half marathons to a lifesaving effort to fight back against cancer. The funds raised help the American Cancer Society support groundbreaking cancer research, provide up-to-date cancer information, advocate for all people to have access to screenings and treatment, and offer programs and services to improve the quality of life for patients facing the diseases and their families.

Sat, Sep 4 2010 - Hike for Parkinson's
Time & Place: - Hunt Valley, MD
Brief Description: Non profit fund raising hike to benefit the University of Maryland Parkinson's Movement Disorder Center. Scheduled for 8 AM September 4th, 2010 @ Oregon Ridge Park. Registration inforrmation: www.hikethepark.org and www.promisesforparkinsons.org
